They each take a different position in a sentence:
Subject pronouns take the place of subjects in sentences.
Object pronouns take the place of objects in sentences.
Possessive adjectives are used like adjectives in sentences. Like other adjectives, they come before the noun they describe.
Possessive pronouns are used like pronouns in sentences. Like other pronouns, they are used instead of nouns.
